Tom Ford

Thomas Carlyle "Tom" Ford is an American fashion designer. He gained international fame for his turnaround of Gucci. Later he worked at YSL as Creative Director. In 2005 he announced the creation of the Tom Ford brand. In 2007 his first directly owned flagship store opened in NY and coincided with the debut of the Tom Ford menswear and accessory collection. 

He has received a plethora of awards for his fashion design including The Style Icon Award in 1999, several designer of the year awards, and The Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014.

Ford currently lives in LA, London and Santa Fe.
